This is like most rental homes and over time they need some updating and little things need to be replaced but aren’t. The curtains in the main floor bath have holes, sink has a crack lines and drain has lost chrome, the wall are solid beams and are impressive but they also show staining due to water intrusion.
There is plenty of places to sit but few are comfortable and lighting is marginal for reading.
The kitchen would be nice but with an island that all but makes it impossible to navigate use of the oven it would be nice if a properly sized alternative was used.
Outside is a nice fire ring and up a path is an open building with a swing but the steps up to that building is a skid which has become un-stable due to weather over time.
The hot tub is visible from the street, not much traffic, cover is in need of repair and according to the test strips and smell the choline was too high.
The water in the refrigerator is filtered and fine but you will notice and odor when taking a shower.
I would question the full price value but with the discounted approach offered during off –season it was a fair price.
We have stayed in rental homes for years and this was clearly not the best or the worst at meeting expectation set by picture and description
If some of the seating and bedding were replaced and some updates and maintenance it would meet the expectations set.I would also question security and responsiveness by the owner in the event there is an issue. We did have a problem and while being told that the owner would call us back we did all the calling and given the issue I would have expected to potentially have seen the owner in person.
