Fall Creek Cabins is a family owned business and managed locally. Owners, Tim & Beverly Thompson give attention to detail as well as strive to meet all of their guests needs.

There are eight log cabins located on 78 acres with hiking trails, state stocked trout stream, waterfalls, meandering creek, and wildlife. The settings of each of the cabins vary from overlooking the meandering creek, to views of the nearby mountains, to natural wooded settings. Six of the cabins offer very private settings where you do not see another cabin and two of the cabins are within view of one another, ideal for larger groups, when renting multiple cabins.

Each cabin offers a full size hot tub on the covered porch along with a swing and rocking chairs. Guests can enjoy the private picnic table and campfire ring at each cabin as well. Amenities also include a gas grill, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, wood burning fireplace, all linens, and many other added features.

We are conveniently located just one mile off of Hwy. 421 in the Deep Gap area, located just 5 minutes from the Scenic Blue Ridge Parkway.

Our location is centrally located between several towns, Boone being the closest, just 15 minutes via Hwy. 421. Blowing Rock is within 25 minutes and you can either take the Blue Ridge Parkway or Hwy. 421, the 105 Bypass and then Hwy. 321. The town of W. Jefferson, which is now known for its great shops and art galleries is also about a 25 minute drive via Hwy. 421 & then Hwy. 221. The town of Wilkesboro, famous for Merlefest and the Apple Festival is just 15 minutes away via Hwy. 421.

By not being right in town guests can experience the peacefulness and serenity that our 78 acres offers, which is why most folks come to the mountains and yet they can also be just a short drive from the various nearby towns. Our location is ideal for most attractions, restaurants, area festivals, skiing, canoeing, tubing, horseback riding, golf and much more. So whether you plan to relax, explore our property, hike, fish or sightsee in the area, we offer a great location.

Wonderful property. I can't say enough good things about Fall Creek Cabins. Our family has stayed many times. From the beautiful views to the amazing fireplace and hot tub, the cabins are absolutely perfect. The location is great, too. So easy to get to so many attractions - hiking to waterfalls, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, antique shops in Boone and Blowing Rock. It's a great vacation spot!
