Lodge At The Bluffs

5903 Magnolia Ln # A,
St Francisville, LA

The Lodge is a small and exclusive all suites facility providing unforgettable accommodations within a setting of several hundred acres that is a nature sanctuary. John James Audubon painted many of his famous Birds of America on the grounds that are now home to Arnold Palmer's Championship 18-hole Signature Golf Course. The exclusive residential community was built after Mr. Palmer staked the Course featuring uniquely different holes and challenges that include thick forests of mature hardwoods and pines, a white sand beach, and natural contours of hills, bluffs and hollows.

The Lodge consists of 35 one-bedroom suites with a living room and sofa (some suites with sleeper sofas), large bath, wet bar with refrigerator, microwaves, wide verandas with seating and ceiling fans (upstairs and downstairs), satellite television, wireless internet, clock radio, desk, telephone, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, express check-out and a view from the bedroom that overlooks the forest and a pond. Lodge rates are seasonal.

In addition to the one-bedroom suites, there are 2 two-bedroom, two-bathroom suites that are perfect for those who wish to host a small corporate meeting or conference with a table that seats twelve. Suite #44 has a full kitchen and can be used in conjunction with Suite #46. Both of these suites are beautifully furnished and have queen size beds in each bedroom (a total of 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms located side by side). Together, they offer the perfect setting and atmosphere for a successful meeting or a family retreat. If you require more meeting space, the Bluffs Restaurant offers a meeting room that will seat 40. The two-bedroom suites are $200 plus tax on weekdays; $300 plus tax on weekends.

Lodge guests have access to the 5K Nature Trail (paved for jogging and walking), the Bluffs Restaurant and Turnhouse and Rascal Park. For an additional fee, guests are also able to enjoy the Golf Course, Tennis Court, Swimming Pools and Fitness Center. The Lodge at the Bluffs is committed to providing quality service and hospitality. Majestic Oaks Lodge LLC

425 Cocodril Rd,
Scott, LA
Enjoy some of the finest duck and goose hunting in south central Louisiana. Our premium hunting location is 640 acres situated in the heart of the Southern flyway so it provides great duck and goose hunting without having to switch blinds. The blinds are spacious and can be heated when temperatures drop. Our guides have hunted these blinds for over twenty-five years and are some of the best duck and goose callers you will find.

The Majestic Oaks Lodge sits on 200 acres full of huge live oak trees, the lodge itself is over five-thousand square feet. This provides plenty of space to Play Billiards, poker or just sit down to relax and enjoy the game on one of our satellite TVs. If you are a hunter that likes to spend the evenings by the fire sharing stories and adventures, we can certainly do that as well. When it is time for bed you will sleep in comfort in one of our large bedrooms each equipped with a bathroom and walk-in closet.

Hunting License: Valid LA Hunting License with State & Federal Duck Stamps.

Clothing: Check the local weather and dress accordingly (hat, face mask, and rain gear)

Footwear: Rubber knee boots work fine for walking down the levee to the blind.

Shotgun & Ammo: Because of our mixed bag of birds we recommend using a shotgun that can handle a variety of stell shot sizes. It is not uncommon to be shooting at teal one minute and speckled bellied geese the next. Bring no less than 3 boxes of steel shot shells per hunt. We recommend 1 box of smaller shot size for early teal and a larger shot size for big ducks and geese.

Beverages: We provide water and soft drinks during meals, However, each guest should bring an ice chest with whatever beverages they wish to consume during their stay with us.

Appetite: Plenty of good Cajun food will be served. With a standard hunting package we provide dinner the evening prior to the hunt and a light breakfast before heading out to the blind.

Accommodations: Due to blind rotation, we operate 3 (5 man blinds) per hunting season - this allows plenty of room for 12 hunters each hunt, so bring your family, employees, or clients - this is a great place for a corporate getaway. We have plenty of room for entertaining. Wi-Fi
