Thumbs up!Stayed at Adohi Lodge for 4th July weekend. The cabin is beautiful! Lots of handcrafted features that we loved. Had a blast , went horseback riding, rented a canoe from Steve & Maggie and explored the lake. The zip lining was exciting (shame it rained :) ) We were sorry to leave, could have stayed a week!! Will be back next year.

Thumbs up!Cute little Inn off the Blue RIdge Parkway! Very reasonably priced rooms! Great for a couple, but not exactly 'family friendly' unless you rent a cottage.

Thumbs down!Stayed for 8 nights - 12/24/10 - 1/1/11. Owner left over 1/2 dozen notes telling you what you could and could not do. Left family pictures. Regulated temperature of home so we couldn't set heat over 69 degrees. Below 10 degree temp. left children's rooms cold. Misleading pics. Front door opens into kitchen, Cannot use garage or drive way. You have to park in street. House next door is too close. Owners make you feel unwelcome.

Thumbs up!One of the best places I have ever visited. Quiet out of the way place, if you don't like solitude and silence then do not go. I loved listening to the water rush by my bedroom window, watching deer roam around the cottage. The Burleson family was a treat to get to know. Plus we were just a short drive to Roan Mountain, the most fantastic vista in N. C. Have fun
